ObamaCare’s Effects Kill Sioux Center Jobs; Obama and Vilsack in Denial

Last night, in an interview with KTIV's Matt Breen, President Obama was in denial of how his policies have led to job losses for 4th District small businesses. Breen was referring to Nemschoff, a manufacturer of furnishings for the medical industry, which eliminated 111 jobs due to ObamaCare’s effects. Meanwhile, Christie Vilsack continues to duck questions on Obama's failed government-takeover of health care. Congressman King today released the following statement in response:

"President Obama and Christie Vilsack continue to demonstrate how out of touch they are with reality. Sadly, President Obama and Christie Vilsack don't need to look farther than Sioux Center, Iowa to see the devastating results of Obama's government-takeover of health care.  As Iowans lose their jobs, Christie Vilsack refuses to take a stand on the issue of ObamaCare and President Obama was surprised it was hurting small businesses.

"Since ObamaCare's passage, I have been the burdensome law's number one opponent. My language to repeal ObamaCare passed the House last year, and I am the only candidate in the 4th Congressional District race who will continue fighting to repeal ObamaCare.

"Mr. President, under your failed policies the economy is stagnant and the private sector is struggling to keep up with your onerous regulations. Businesses are not 'doing fine.'

"We need leaders in Washington who have spent their lives in the private sector. As a self-made small businessman, I know we need President Romney in the Oval Office to repeal ObamaCare, restore our American dream and get America working again.

"We need leaders running for office in the 4th District who will stand up against ObamaCare and its job-killing effects. I am asking Christie Vilsack to take a stand for ObamaCare and defend it or join me in my efforts to repeal ObamaCare.”
